Learn how he plans a landscape painting—choosing a subject, making sketches to find the desired composition, gauging and adjusting values, and determining colors. See him create an underpainting that lays the foundation for a successful painting. Then watch as he applies pastels on top of the underpainting, working toward a finished piece. The demonstration will also include a brief discussion of materials.
