TAG is delighted to host an exhibit of recent works produced in the Guided Open Studio Sessions at TAG. The show will open on Friday, January 30 as part of Date Night in Tappahannock and will continue until February 21.

TAG Guild Artist Barbara Woodward has been leading a weekly session for artists working in any medium to create together and critique each other’s work. “Creating art is a powerful experience,” says Woodward. “It’s a profound way to process, celebrate and appreciate the world around us.”

The weekly sessions are open to the public and cost $25 (discounts available for members, and for multi-session packages).

Some of the artists are TAG members and some of them are relatively new to painting. All of them have made progress in their work by participating in the weekly sessions and learning from their instructor and each other.

This show will include works from Wanda Ryan, Kathy McCauley, Mortimer Payne, Liz Harper, Frank Rixey, Ginerva Wolfinger, Luke Riddell, Jackie Leavitt, and Dolores Flessner.
