The juror for “Of This Place” is Ann Beverley Hundley Eubank, a native of Essex County. She graduated from St. Margaret’s School, attended St. Andrew’s College in North Carolina and VCU in Richmond were she was accepted into Painting and Printmaking. She finished with a degree in education and Master of Education. She went on to receive an endorsement in library science. After teaching for twenty-two years in Hanover County and Essex she retired in Tappahannock. She began painting with a local group of artists who later formed Tappahannock Art Guild. She has continued with watercolor for over thirty years painting landscapes, rivers, creeks, and gardens and has shown her art at Richmond Public Library, Ashland Coffee and Tea, and Tappahannock Farmers’ Market. Her work was represented in the American Embassy in Tajikistan and is included in many private collections. Among her favorite subjects are landscapes, riverscapes, and the Dragon Swamp. She is atmospheric and impressionistic, revealing her respect and love for nature.

Two Juror Prizes of $250 each will be awarded to the winners. Additionally, the Directors of each sponsoring gallery will choose an entry for a $100 Director Prize.
